Reply not functioning properly

When You click on REPLY from the "Recently Updated Posts" (any POST)
I get this:

Oops, there was an error!
The thread you are trying to access could not be found.

If I click on the thread title..
 I do go to the thread, and clicking "reply" there does work...as does the quick reply....

makes no difference Firefox 19, Opera, I.E. all the same

Just tried this myself to check it up, clicking reply via the recent post pages lead me to this page:

pharmerphil.proboards.com/post/new/null

However, what I did notice is that hovering over the reply button, the 'number' at the end of the link was 15499 but hovering over the thread title the number was 154994 .. so there seems to be a missing number here.

ETA: Actually, every single reply button has a number that doesn't match its thread number...

Do you encounter this problem anywhere else, or JUST from the reply 'via' Recent Post page?

What about Quick Reply, or the the regular Reply button on a thread?

I gave this a try on your forum as well as a couple of other test forums and can confirm this is a bug. I'll bring it to the attention of our developers so that it can be corrected. Thanks for the heads up

The devs had a look at this bug yesterday. The reply button was never intended to appear on that page, and was removed globally.

There isn't a reply button on the Recent Posts page by default. There is no reason you couldn't use a plugin to achieve this. I believe one has already been made to put the reply button everywhere you could imagine.

The author is Support's own @pebbleleague if I am not mistaken. You might want to ask them if they could do this for you!
